Group therapy is a type of psychotherapy that addresses issues where a group of individuals with similar problems are treated together by one or more therapist.Group therapy can be effective for a wide range of difficulties to include depression, anxiety, eating disorders, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD) and addictions. Group therapy can offer a better understanding of how other people, experience similar problems.This can include family interventions to understand, family dynamics,improve communication, resolve conflicts, and foster understanding among family members.
